Om Aum 2023

2023 Om (Aum), created with thick gorgeous textured paint brushed on canvas. The paint has notable depth in multiple ways, utilizing a partially translucent medium with texture and stringing additives. In this wall art piece, I've used deep rich reds, vivid oranges, striking yellows, and sharp crisp whites. These strong colors make this painting stand out in a way that can't be ignored. The strokes are vibrant and energetic, sometimes seeming chaotic, and come together in a way that makes a wonderful sense. These pieces are created one layer at a time on multiple canvases. For example, the same color/brush/technique combination will be used on ten different canvasses before moving on to the next color/brush/technique. In this way, I make multiples of the art, but each piece is truly unique. Please expect minor variations from piece to piece. However, almost the exact same strokes, colors, and patterns will be used. It will look like the pictures (especially if you tilt it into the light to catch the shadows across the texture like I do in these pictures).
